Adhesives are usually a one or two part material. Adhesives come from different sources either natural or synthetic. Today, adhesives are extremely strong and are increasingly important in modern construction and industry. The types of materials that can be bonded using adhesives are virtually limitless, but they are especially useful for bonding thin materials.
Adhesives can be filled to many packaging types and various mixed ratios. The most common packaging types for adhesives are dual pouch clip systems, dual cartridges, syringes, and single components. The mixed ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1 are generally used with these packaging types.
For moisture sensitive adhesives, we introduce and purge with nitrogen during our packaging process and before each packaging type is closed. This eliminates air and maintains the adhesive integrity until ready to be used.
We clean all of our machines with a general solvent to reduce contamination after each production run.

Wuxi Maxwell can provide you with experienced support and find the exact packaging component for your material. We have over 20 years of experience in custom adhesive packaging. All custom adhesive packaging follows strict guidelines according to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and/or Technical Data Sheet (TDS). We will not jeopardize the integrity of the material if the packaging component does not coincide with the application and/or material.
Epoxy is a thermosetting polymer formed from reaction of an epoxide “resin” with polyamine “hardener”. Epoxy has a wide range of applications that include fiber reinforced plastic materials and general purpose adhesives. When these two are combined they formed a secure bond. The process of polymerization is called “curing”, and can be controlled through temperature and choice of resin and hardener compounds; the process can take minutes to hours. Some formulations benefit from heating during the cure period, whereas others simply require time and ambient temperatures.
The most common packaging types for epoxies are dual pouch clip systems, dual cartridges, and syringes. The mixed ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1 are generally used with these packaging types. Some epoxies are pre-mixed / frozen to stop the curing process and then heated to room temperature to be used for the desired applications.
Each machine is cleaned with a general solvent that will eliminate any contaminates to the material after each production run.
