Een vulmachine is een aanvullende uitrusting voor een planetaire menger of multifunctionele menger. De machine is verantwoordelijk voor het verpakken van gemengde materialen. De machine kan worden onderverdeeld in semi-automatische en volautomatische uitvoeringen. Een volautomatische vulmachine bestaat uit een frame, een buisopslagbox, een buistransporteur, een pneumatische vulpomp, een automatische dekselopstelling, een automatische dekselaandrukker en een besturingssysteem. De machine wordt normaal gesproken gebruikt voor kwantitatieve vulling van containers met een deksel aan het uiteinde van de buis. De buizen worden verticaal afgevuld met één kop, de buis wordt synchroon verticaal gevuld en de werkmodus is intermitterend. De belangrijkste functies zijn automatische buistoevoer, automatisch breken van draden na het vullen, automatisch plaatsen en bevestigen van deksels, automatisch pneumatisch aandrukken van deksels, automatische detectie en één handeling voor het beheer van de gehele lijn. De materialen komen meestal uit een extrusiemachine. Een pomp voor hoogviskeuze materialen is ook optioneel als de viscositeit van het materiaal niet zo hoog is.
